About the Cluster

The North Yorkshire Maritime & Renewable Cluster is a member-led network championing the people, ports, manufacturers and businesses across the whole county that are driving the region's clean energy transition.

Rooted in North Yorkshire, built for the future

For centuries, North Yorkshire's harbours, market towns and industry have powered the region — from fishing fleets in Whitby and Scarborough to manufacturing and trade across the county.

Today, North Yorkshire sits alongside some of the UK's most important offshore wind and renewable developments. Our cluster exists to make sure businesses and communities right across the county are at the centre of this opportunity.

We connect suppliers with developers, link training providers with employers, and give the region a unified voice to attract investment and shape policy.

Our Mission
